Default What is the best bang for your buck slip on for a 400ex?

I got a whole system from ebay that was DG and it was junk. Thanks alot ATV overstock for selling me ****!!!Sorry had to vent but the silencer is long since blown out, probally was the first day I had it,went to take it apart to repack and the screw hole somehow got stripped, recently I found out the weld holding the two pipes together toward the front of the engine snapped letting a nice exhaust leak through. This system is going to be properly killed once I get a replacement.

Anyways I was looking into getting just a good cheap high performance slip-on since my engine isnt modded yet anyways(you can see my only mods in my sig)and I was wondering how the DG Xccelerator S-bend was.The reason I thought the DG was a good choice is the $170 price tag...Anyone have a clue?Any other good choices?

Thanks in advance everyone,
Ron

Is FMF as good a brand for 4 strokes as it seems to be for 2 strokes?I think a megamax system is available for mine for like $22X dollars or something like that. That dont sound too bad.

IMO, stay away from FMF. On my last EX, I went from a White Brothers to an HMF slipon and loved it. I repacked it twice and it didn't show any signs of falling apart. I would buy another HMF.

I had a Pro Circuit T4 on my 400EX and had no complaints. It performed good, looked good, well made, and sounded good. If I was to do it again I would go with the........................HMF!
