Hey guyes,

I'm looking for anyone who has completed the TRX500r project that can point me in the right direction. I already have a pretty good idea of how im going to mount the motor but i was looking for more suggestions. i also was curious about how anyone did their kickstarter and how you plumped your radiatior hoses. any imput/comments/PICTURES!!!!!!! would greatly help. thanks in advance.

I have the pictures you need and the info you need. you ask'd me before but I get it all the time from peaple that are not serious. Sory for not responding. check out my pics on here and pm me your email and I'll send some blown up pics of the motor and head stay. For the rad hoses its simple. I have 2 ways that work. I evean figured out how to make a compression reliese valve work on this motor so it starts easily with tons of compression. The only kink is the kick starter. I have to keep it in my back pack for now and just slip it on and off. If you go by my specks you will need a custom tank and pipe. that will run about a grand.

 

where did you get that custom pipe for your 500 ??

 

I took a 250r pipe, mounted the expansion chamber in the stock location (so the silencer would work) and modified/lengthened the piece that comes off of the cylinder. custom made -- BY ME --

 

Its a custom cone pipe made by a shop that does trinity's exhaust.

hey man i just got mine finished a month ago. i dont have any pictures of my bike yet but i can tell you this...... get the crank balanced and rubber mount as much as you can. i did both and it still vibrates. of course its not enough to break the frame but you can still feel it. what year motor are you running and what chassis setup do you have?

ok well i have some pictures of bansheesmoker's trx500 its pretty wicked. i dont have any pictures of mine yet but if you keep reminding me i will get some. i mounted my motor wayyyyy differently than he did. let me know if you have any questions or if you want advise or pictures.
