dump the lrd. have your 686 done by a pro with a new rod installed!!!
i recommend craycraft or kenz for teh engine work. plan on spending aroudn $2200 if you have a pro do it. and look at getting the sparks exhasut.

depending on the pipe (brand, slip-on or full) with cams, you should get 10 hp easily... not sure about the big bore or stroker numbers.

Not that I'm biased, but I recommend the complete ALBA 686 set-up, to include porting and pipe/silencer. You'll save money and appreciate the improvement. Needless to say, I can vouch for the performance gains. Good luck.

For a strong pump-gas big bore, there is really only one choice. Craycraft has a 730 kit that's called the Low Compression Cruiser (LCC), it will wax most any Raptor except the full blown drag motors. Ask anyone that's gone up against Jarhead's Raptor, incredible performance from a pump gas motor.

hey is the link bay

Craycraft Racing

he is a excellent builder, and since you need a new rod yes you will have to send him your entire motor.

sparks is also a great builder. good luck, i hope you dont plan on riding your raptor for about a year and a half, cuz thats how long the waiting list is for sparks motor work. i mean send your motor today you wont get it back for a year and a half. as opposed to about a month for a craycraft......
