Does anyone know of a good company that does porting on the east coast. I want to get my 250r ported.
I am very interested on two stroke engines and I have learn a quite bit already. On my 250r there is this little bottle on the intake boot. Whats that for?
Also who makes Air Stryker carburator?

thanx. Later.

the air stryker carbs are made by keihin, and why do u need good engine builder on the east coast? u can ship your cyl, crank etc across the u.s. for a cheap price...there are plenty of good 250r builders, it all depends on what riding you plan on doing, dunes/hillshooting=packrd enterprises, mx=ct or lrd i suppose...just all depends on your riding

I know that there is alot of companies on the west coast that do porting. But I like to support my east coast.
We dont have much dunes on the east coast and I dont race. I am pretty much a weekend rider. I do some jumping, some drag racing. What porting job do you think would be good for me?
Thanx

Saw Packard run at SandFest last August. WOW. Simply the fastest I've seen.... WOW. There's a bunch of boys that think that they have some fast stuff on the Oregon Coast, but the Packard stuff spanked them bad. Probably the next engine that I do will be a Packard pilot-hybrid.

I had one of my FL350s ported by Forward Motion Racing. I figured for $120, even if it was just matching up the liner and removing casting flaws, it would still be worth it. I asked for rev porting and he did more than just clean it up. It runs on pump gas, spins 9K and pulls 6-8 lengths ahead of my other machine in a drag. His site is www.eric-gorr.com
