where should i go next, i have a full exhaust and air filter and jet kit(basic bolt ons) now i need to go bigger, so whats next. i can pull 450s untill about top of third and when i hit 4th they walk me like 3 bike lenths. so what should i do next, my buddies have piped yamaha and honda 450s and i'd like to beable to keep up with them if not beat them.

Think the next step would be a high-compression piston and cams.

 

what about a 440 kit and cams, i've seen them on ebay for like 170 bucks the 440 kit that is. would you be able to jet the stock carb to run the 440 and cams?

 

If your lacking some on top, go with cams. A CDI or bigger carb could help with that too. As far as the BB kits go, the piped 450's wont stand a chance.

With my mods Im dead even with a good runnig piped YFZ. I can beat piped trx450's.

Cams and carb gave me the best results. I also needed the CDI to keep off from the rev limiter.

I would check into the Athena 434 kit. Theres a lot of people that are very happy with this kit.
