Need yor opinion about 2005 400EX mods

Ok....right now It's all stock. I just ordered some RAZR2's all around. I want opinions on a good slip-on pipe thats pretty quiet. And if I get a UNI foam filter, what needs to be done as far as rejetting and air box lid? I ride where there's a good bit of mud/water and I've had my EX up to the fenders in mud/water several times. I felt the need to mention that just incase....
What filter would be better for trail riding with a good bit of going through mud?

Just for a filter change you won't need to rejet. If you ride in deep wet stuff definitely keep the airbox lid on. Personally, I prefer K&N filters. They are SOOOOO much easier to clean than foam filters, and with a prefilter you don't need to clean them that often. A outerwears prefilter on a K&N will make it virtually waterproof, unless your airbox fills with water there's no way for the filter to get saturated and allow water into the engine.
Foam filters have some advantages, but it's not worth it to me for the pain in the neck it is to clean them. Basically, they can trap slightly smaller particles of dirt than a K&N because of their sticky oil, and they can hold more dirt before they start losing airflow. UNI filters are a few bucks cheaper than the K&N filters, which may be something to consider. It depends on what's more important to you, but the K&N is my choice.
