Default Cleaning the engine

I was just wondering if anyone good suggest a good engine clear. My V has some miner rust from the snow and stuff that i want to take off and shine it up for the new season. Whats a good product for this job?!?!?!

Simple green or one of those other orgainic cleaners work well.

Try Purple Power i get it at advace auto works really well grease oil etc.

you're not going to be able to "clean" rust off your engine. the best thing you can do is take a scotch-brite pad to the rusted spots, and gently scrub the rust off. then give the areas a good rub with a WD-40 soaked rag. this will help prevent more rust from forming. if you ride in the snow and salt, you're going to get some rust, but you can't wash it off.

scrubbing bubbles works like magic.

also if you got time on your hands you can make your motor look like this.

Dang, that must have taken 4 maybe 5 minutes to somewhat polish that one small cover. I really like the red paint on the front sprocket gaurd, I think your suppose to get an even coat on and not paint over everything surrounding it? Maybe not I am not a pro.

yeah, I would have to describe that engine as less-than-impressive also.

According to recon's sig. He has a warrior, I am not the biggest fan of warriors but I would rather run that any day over your overspray 400ex, I looked at some of your pictures and I think maybe just maybe there is room for one more sticker... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

na i think i can fit a nuther 10. i counted over 80 stickers on this quad. and gess what. my 400ex is less than 300lbs and is 0cc right now
