#1
Hey guys how is it going, I was wondering can yall tell me what parts can make my stock blaster fast as a banshee. Should i get a new smaller sprocket, or What.
Tell me what engine parts to get, shocks, sproket, exhuast, muffler, filter ext.
Just please tell me what parts can make my blaster fast as a banshee or a close to fast as a banshee.
also can you tell me where to get them cheap , i had a $1000 limit, thanks

I don't see this happening, even with all the parts in the world its going to be a little blaster, it's never going to handle awesome, it's always gonna feel small and more then likely never be as fast as a banshee. I wouldn't bother blowing $1000 on a blaster considering the cost of a new blaster is what $3000 ? You will never get your money back when you sell it. Your much better off to sell the blaster and use your money to buy something better to begin with.

For a thousand bucks, look around on ebay and pick up a pipe for a couple hundred. Then get yourself a 30mm carb, you can get one of those for around 150. Then send your cylinder and head to Eric Gorr in Illinois (Forward Motion Performance) and get it ported for 200 bucks. You're at 550 now, and pick up a K&N filter, learn carb tuning, get everything working right. You will be so much faster than stock you'll be amazed and without breaking the bank your Blaster will surprise the heck out of a lot of people.

Okay, so its clear this dude, has no,nada, nothing, zero idea of what he is talking about! Yes, you junkman. Stop smoking crack, and everything will clear up!! I have seen blasters run right beside of banshees that had work done to them!! So if they were stock, the blaster would have crushed them!! A blaster is small and always seem that way.....what a butt pirate!!! What you need is your head rechambered. and cylinder ported. your timing advanced 4 degrees, oil injection disconnected, a 30mm carb (or if money is tight, look for any kehein carb from a cr85, kx85, yz 85. They all are 28mm.) Lastly a good exhaust. Your blaster will scream! Now depending how you get it ported and carb size, tire size, gearing you will either out pull on bottom, or hang with and walk on top end! honda 400's will have to work to beat you!!! Good luck

You have seen blasters run beside banshees....awesome, I have seen an 8,000 lb Diesel pickup blow away a mustang. Sure you can waste a bunch of money making that little blaster fast in a straight line but with more power and the ability to go faster you also need to do something about the tiny wheelbase (if you intend to use that new found power) The suspension is also not up to par. The blasters narrow stance doesn't help either. So yeah for $1,000 maybe you could be as quick in a straight line as a banshee or other bigger quads, but as soon as something like a turn comes up or maybe some bumps you will be out of luck. Kinda like how you can make a heavy pickup fast in a straight line but when it comes down to handling the car is obviously going to be quicker. And as for the blaster being small it's true the blaster will always be a small quad, just because you make it faster doesn't mean its any bigger. Maybe your a really small person but I can't imagine comfortably riding a blaster.

Alright I do see your point, When I would get on my daughters blaster, it was hard to hold on, when getting your speed up on a section of whoops....but, when I traded with my bud, who rides a z400 well I could see how he could manage so much better...but that is why I replaced the stock suspension with his old factory stuff. So yes, handling is a consideration. But the short wheelbase makes it respond so much faster. all you need is wheel spacers or a banshee axle and the back is done. The front needs a solid spacer and wham, bam, thank you mam...you have 3 inches up front. My point was its not night and day between the blasters and z400's, 400ex's...my kids blaster blasts away 400's and handles maginally less. They are shorter so your knees are bent at a 90 degree position so you are 100% right about comfort. but my point is unless your racing competively. for well under a grand you can almost double the hp and improve the ride so much so the much higher priced quads dont have that much of an edge. Now I am not talking a new honda 450 or the yami 450. but they are double the price to begin with. But for trails and wide open fields/dunes my girls blaster is right there with 98% of the rest and it was all done for under a grand and starts every time 2'nd kick!!!

you can get a 240 big bore kit and then add a 4mm stroker that puts you at around 256 ccs i think.youll need a 34mm carb or bigger.vforce3 reeds, new intake for bigger carb, advance timing 4 degrees, get a good exhaust.now youll need to im prove the suspension.extend the swingarm so you can get the power down and make it wider so it handles better.if you do that you will beat mildly modded banshees and you will eat up 400s all day.oh i almost forgot a port and polish is needed and head shaved.now you can go with even bigger motor if your just drag racing and have money to rebuild it constantly.

I have a question my self. How fast does a stock blaster go? I just got mine and i was wondering. I was told 60-65. I am thinking about getting a power core 2 silencer and a jet kit. How much faster would that make it go? Also which is better FMF or DG. They boths sell exhuast for my blaster and i dont know which to buy

if you got 1 grand to dump into it just save it till you have about 1600 and get the complete ct racing sonic 240cc kit from trenga racing.it comes with the big bore kit, carb, reed cage, and pipe and silencer.it will give you more power than anything else for the money.and you will keep up with most banshees....
