blaster engine swaps

im looking to drop out the stock 2002 motor in my blaster, does anyone know of an engine, honda, kawasaki, yamaha, suzuki, whatever would fit in there? i looked at the 400ex motors and they seem to have to many components to fit in the blaster frame. any suggestions are great as long as they are reasonable. money for the engine is about 800-1000 bucks MAX. and if you could include what is needed to do the swap and even a link at where to find it or at least a price, that'd be great. thanks guys

would a dirtbike engine make that much of a difference like a yz450f or yz250 engine? and since they're yamaha does that mean they'll have a better chance at fitting the frame than other company motors?
whaleeditedbymoderator- yes the motor is cherry, nothing wrong at all and new top end kit so its like brand new. as for price e-mail me at Xbeastlyone17@aol.com for an offer and we can go for there man, thanks

ummm i really hope ur kidding when u asked will it make that much of a difference! stick a 250r engine in it or a lt250 engine or a yz250 engine and u wont believe the power difference!! those blaster engines are weenies compared to those.... so thats my oppinion... dont go 4 stroke in a 2 stroke bike its meant for it and u should have it.... also u wont be able to fit a 4 stroke engine in it so dont think about it..... well hope this helps

1988fast250x- no i was talkin about if a atv and dirtbike motor would be any different from eachother if they were say both 250 2 strokes. obviously a 195cc blaster motor isnt gonna come close to a 250r engine. thanks for the help tho

im all 4 you finding out how to put some pep into your blaster but if you think about it when you decide to put a engine in a frame it not ment for it is a bigger undertaking than most people r up for your best bet is 4 you to dump your money into the engine you have like stroke it and have it bored, ported and polished, add simple things like new reeds and an aftermarket pipe and silencer will give you good tone and throttle response plus you wont hurt your structure of the quad its self
