Default CHain Lube?????

Does anyone know the best chain lube to use for my 2002 400ex. My chain has alot of grit and grime on it because i ride in alot of sand mudd and water and i want to get it off. My uncle mentioned a product called JP-1 but ive never heard of it. ANY SUGGESTIONS???????

Default CHain Lube?????

Several companies, including JP, make a chain cleaner/solvent. There are three things you should invest in for maintaining your 0-ring or X-ring chains. A chain brush to clean all the grime off the chain after spraying it with cleaner, and some good chain lube or chain wax. Check out your local dealer or performance shop.

my rm i never put chain lube on it i keep it dry and it lasts about two years , the lubes and waves hold or collect dirt , i have used amsoil and liked it but you do need to clean it before appling any lubes or waxes
