If it "sputters" with a 168 and cleans out with a 175, should I stay there or go one or two sizes (178-180)larger?

I ran it at 60 degrees temeprature with the 175. I normally ride in 100 degree weather. Should I go a size or two larger (178 or 180) since I usually ride in the hotter weather?
