hi my name is jason i am trying to see if this works.....i have the chance to buy a 85 250r 3 wheeler but i want to get a trx250r frame and mount the engine in it.....i was wondering what it would take to work and also this not liquid cooled it is air.....please hit me up with what you think

It can be done, but unless you've got a deal on a rolling chassis from a fourtrax R or getting the trike for next to nothing there's really no reason not to just buy the 4 wheeler.

 

Sheesh, I'd rather have 3 wheels anyway.

 

i found the frame for 300 plus shipping and i also picked up the hole 3 wheeler for only 250 and the motor has new top end in it......i am going to build this from the ground up!!!!! i am also going to rebuild the engine.....

 

that is a steal on the 3 wheeler, i had an 85 or 86 250r honda 3 wheeler and loved it!

 

sounds like it should work ok. and for the price you got both for its a really good deal.the only thing is if your three wheeler is air cooled and not water cooledits got to be a 84 250r the 85and 86 250r were water cooled
