do any of you guys know a place that repairs pipes and does chroming to? or does just chroming? and what are their prices?

You really don't want chrome for an exhaust pipe. Most often it will turn blue from heat. Nickel plating tends to remain stable under those conditions. My Curtis Sparks pipe was nickel plated for that reason. It's two years old & still no discoloration. In regard to your other post above: if you're thinking about painting the header, I know of no paint that will withstand the temps in that area, even engine paint will go away.
