Banshee ignitions
#1
Trinity sells a nice ignition setup, although you will lose your lights because there are no lighting coils. The flywheel is billet, I think. Goto there website and check it out. The site is www.trinity.com I really havent seen to many other companies with ignitions. Lightening the fly wheel is a regular mod on quads but it can be relatively dangerous to do if not done properly. I have heard of flywheels breaking into hundreds of pieces due to flywheel lightening. If you have this done, get it done by a reputable company so you dont have those types of problems.

Was wondering if anyone knew of any type of racing ignitions for a banshee? Have seen the msd ignition, but am looking for something with either a lightened flywheel or a billet one. Would like to find a setup where I can keep my lights, but haven't been able to find anything. Are these mods not normal for atvs. You see ads for flywheels all the time for Jetskis. Thanks David

There are many aftermarket ignitions available. MSD's systems allows you to retain you flywheel and lighting. Snap-in installation, you're off rippin' and tuning. PVL also makes an ignition. So does FTZ Performance. If you go to http://www.macdizzy.com/2stroke.htm there should be links to MSD and PVL, otherwise call FTZ.
With a tunable timing curve and hotter spark there is much power to be made from an aftermarket ignition. Its worth every dollar.

MSD makes really high quality electronics. I haven't had any experience with their bike stuff but I have seen and used the automotive products in my old Dodge Ramcharger, what a difference. I can only assume that their bike products would be just as good. I'd go MSD personally
