my machine has an hpd trail mod engine that runs great but when i did a piston check through the exhaust port i found 2 small drops of coolant. I have run this engine for about 2 months without ever adding coolant or seen white smoke. I replaced the 2 oring seals in the head but they looked fine.The cylinder and piston also looked geat. Where did my coolant come from?

 

Did u check to see if there was coolant in your radiator or did u check that before u took off your exaust and maybe u could have dropped some antifreeze in the exaust port. just and idea for u. other wise i would check your engine out and see if there isn't a hairline crack or some thing. U said u had a hpd motor in it so is your engine bored or is it stock bore?

 

thanks mudman i figured out what happened. i had used simple green to wash my scrambler. apparently some got in the exhaust. never even thought of that.
