Ok my bike keeps Breaking the timing tentioner!! I mean i just broke again today and it is the seound brand new one i have put on! its breaking the sprink inside of the tentioner.. i cant figure it out! what should i do? i have never ever herd of anything like this happeneing! its on a 250x.

80mm big bore kit
12 1/2:1 compression
stage 1 MX port and polish

34mm mikuni flatslide

I think thats all for the engine for now if theres more i will let you know.

 

Maybe you are tensioning it too much.

 

you might need to go to a manual tensioner. I have one on mine, you just have to remember to check it once in a while to make sure its adjusted right
not to sure where to get one, I got mine from the guy who did my motor
