if youget it for a good price and figure in your mods and your not breaking the bank, why not those are great quads. what kind of riding u doing? those were bad *** dune machines,my buddy had a 250 all built up the thing screamed got to love those 2 strokes. and i really think you wouldnt have to spend 2 grand for hop up parts those things were fast already

I can't help you with component suggestions, as I don't have one or know any1 who does. However, they were around when I was much younger and I remember them being a beast of a quad...hence the name. I would love to find one myself, so I say good luck and do her proud!

Have you rode the bike yet??? That things mean.... if u havent rode it i suggest you ride it before you go hopping it up... But i suggest a pipe. I like LRD... Then mainly suspention.. +1 or +2 A-arms... Elka suspention front and rear.. I highly suggest Long travel.. Those LT frames wernt exactly known for being strong... so get the bike guesseted before taking it off any jumps... bead lock rims.. Airfilter. mabe a weighted flywheel?? then hang on for a nice ride.. But suspention is key for me!

one thing you can also do is take your Engine, get a LT250R frame, and throw it in there. shaves alot of weight, and most people will look at and think its just a 250

My brother in law has one that runs extremely well,he has Paul Turner exhaust, portwork done by FTZ racing with headwork, Mikuni 39/41.5 alcohol carb. They are an extremely good duner/drag racer, very torquey.I like LRD but you have to seal them good they are a 2 piece.(at least the ones i've seen were)
