LRD you can get the slip on or full system. Full system will be best but most people that dont mod the motor are satisfied with just the slip on.
As for jetting you should be around 160-165.
The air filter that adds the most power is k&n. You will here some people saying k&n lets dirt in but that is not true. It only lets dirt in if you dont oil it right. I used a k&n for 4 years and in clay dust the wors thing for filters and nothing got past the filter. Just use the outer wears boot for added pertection. If you go with a foam filter its not going to really help at all.
For more power run no air box cover or no air box at al like me. if you do that you will need to bump the needle up to the 3rd or 4th position usualy the 3rd.
I never heard any thing bad about LRD except that some peoples headers got wet when it was hot and the coating on the header pealed off and I think they said it startes to rust with out that. if it did happen you could have it coated with some stuff that would make it look good and stop it from rusting.
