I just wanted to know if you guys think a "JE Piston 12:1 standard bore" would be any good and what could i expect from it, since I might buy it for my Raptor

 

The JE pistons have known failures in the raptor engines. Supposedly it was just a few batches but all the big shops like Kenz,Craycraft,Barker etc have quit using them. Weisco is excellent for the money. CP is more money but there are more choices in comp ratios etc. I would reccomend not overdoing on the weak stock rod. For the money the HotRods stroker crank+piston is a descnet option. I do how everprefer the Barker setup and it allows you to run any piston you want without having to run the special offset piston HotRods uses.IMO its the best on the market.
