Hey guys, new to the forum tonight. I've got a utility quad that I've been using more and more on trails, dunes and mudding. Anyway just wondering where you would start with some modifications to gain some added performance. My machine doesn't seem to have the performance that I see out of other make of machines.

So let me know where you would start; pipes, clutch springs etc....

I would start with the clutch. It dosen't matter how much power your engine makes if its not delivered to your wheels.

Thanks Ryan, how big or small of a job is it? Is there any negative effect on reliability? I'm not much of a mechanic, is this something that I should attempt to do on my own? What's the next mod you would make?

Unless you have compression tools I would get the dealer to install it. It should only be 2 hours labour plus the kit. The next mod I would do is a pipe with a filter and snorkel, to get more air in and out of the engine. you might have to re-jet when you do this but maybe not.
