I HAVE A 94 300EX WITH WB EXHAUST,K&N,WORKS SHOCKS,DOUGLAS WHEELS AND HOLESHOT TIRES.
I CHANGED THE FRONT SPROKET TO ONE WITH 1 MORE TOOTH, AND WENT FROM A 120 JET TO A 125 JET. SO FAR I AM THE FASTEST IN MY GROUP, BUT I NEED TO KNOW IF A BIGGER JET WOULD HELP? ALSO, ANY SMALL BUDJET MODS I COULD DO TO MAKE ME FASTER?
JUST A POOR BOY LOOKING TO COMPETE.

 

Depends, Are you getting alot of black smoke when you rev it? If not you may be able to go a little bigger. If you are you should go with a smaller jet. A cam/valve spring kit will help out alot, it's about $200.

 

I just had a better idea. Practice!! That's right practice riding it will help you as much as anything. A fast bike won't do much good if you can't ride it to it's full potential.

 

I RIDE VERY WELL THANK YOU. WHEN IM NOT ON MY 300EX, IM ON MY BRO`S 400EX. IF I CAN FLY ON A BUILT 400EX I THINK I HAVE THE FULL ABILITY FOR MY 300. SO ABILITY IS NOT MY PROBLEM. MY PROB IS THAT THEY LEAVE ME IN A DUST STORM AND NOBODY LIKES THAT.

 

Hold on! I was not implying that you could not ride. I have never seen you ride. But I see a lot of people wanting a faster bike because they are always getting beat, but the bike was not the problem. They simply needed experience. In your case you obviously have the experience, you need more power. I did not intend to offend you.
