hey guys i just bought an 05 raptor 350 and i wanna put a new exhuast on it, now i have talked to alot of people about it and they say whatever i do i have to re-jet it, what is a re-jet and what do you think i should go with on modifying my exhuast. thanks im new to upgrading atv's.

 

another thing, i mostly just trail ride on it so im looking for low end, i never ride it on sand or in the water, just to help you guys out replying to my earlier question thanks alot!

 

Engines need to run a certain air to fuel ratio to run right. When you unclog the exhaust by putting on a performance exhaust you sometimes have to re-jet the carburator. The main jet is what you have to replace to keep that ratio correct because you now are flowing more air; you also have to flow more fuel. That is what is ment by re-jetting.
