My 400ex doesnt smoke bad but it smokes and burns oil fast.I have excellent compression.

ralph,
My 400ex started smoking alot only when it had sit for a few days, then it would go away after a few minutes of riding. found out that the vavle seals were bad and replaced them. Hope this helps
