Ok
i heard that you can put a 350x top end on a 300ex bottom end without running into any complications.
Is this true ??
I found a place where i can get the head but i wanna make sure that they r gonna work b4 i buy it and find out it aint gonna go together.

Absolutely, positively --- NOT! The conversion is not easy, fer instance -- the cam on the 350X rotates in the opposite direction of the 300EX!
Yea, it can be done, but you'd end up with some serious $$$ into the project, unless you're a master R&D guy. In which case, you'd just port the stock head and install bigger valves to get the same kinda flow you'd have on the 350X head. Which is still less than a stock 400EX has.
But you can install the whole 350X engine easily into your 300 EX or 250X chassis. There's even a company that makes a pipe for the conversion. I have a TRX 350X, (250X chassis, 350X engine) and like it. Unfortunately, it's nothing compared to a 400EX for power -- but that's what I've got my "R" for :-)
