My friend is getting a pipe for his 300ex . We ride in the DESERT. What pipe would be best for performance and would it help out if he got a K&N filter and jet kit if so what size jet should he go up to. Thanks for any replies

 

I PUT ON A FMF PIPE. PRO CORE IV SA-2 IS A NEW AND GREAT PIPE THE BEST ONE IN THE FMF LINE FOR THE 300EX. AND I ALSO PUT IN A K&N JET KIT AND FILTER I JETTED UP TO 128. DO NOT RUN THIS PIPE WITHOUT JETTING THE CARB. I LOVE THE POWER AND SPEED INCREASE MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE. WAS SMOKED BY MY BROTHER IN LAWS 2000 WARRIOR WHEN I WAS STOCK BUT, NOT NO MORE. I went with the white bro`s head pipe and e-series pipe. I gained alot of power and its not too loud to ride around the house. Also, definitly get the k&n filter and jet kit. I went with the 130 jet because mine breaths very well. you will need to try more than one different jet. Mine came stock with a 122 and I tried a 125 and now im at a 130, so its trial and error. and for the other dude,,,doesnt that make them worriors mad when you blow them away....Ive got two of them trying to catch my little 300ex( thats what they called it the first time they seen it on the truck)

don't bother with the jet kits, just get the appropriate size stock style jets. unless you like giving away money that is.
