Im so wishy washy on which pipes to get!

Im want to get rid of these stockers so bad and open the shee up with some new pipes/silencers but cant really decide on which setup to go with.

Riding Trails mainly/open fields/hill climbs and some sand banks

Im looking to get some more low end out of the banshee and have looked at the FMF SST's, FMF Fattys, LRD's, and Duncan.

With a low end pipe will I loose any top end and if I get a low end pipe will I gain any top end at all over the stockers?
Money isnt really a concern, as long as it doesnt exceed $700 im aight.

Thanks for the input.

Ordering pipes next week once my freagin mind is made up

You will lose some bottom end regardless of which pipe that you go with. You can gain some low end going with a 2-1 pipe but the top end gains are reduced. In my opinion go with FMF or Toomey. They move the power band higher and allow the bike to rev higher giving more top speed.

If you want more low end on a banshee go with a smaller front sprocket.

Have you been over to FMF's revamped web site lately? I believe they have an SST graph to check out. Also, everyone should supply a dyno graph to a potential customer. Look at HP and Torque graphs.

The LRD pipes are the way to go. I have them on my shee and they just keep pulling forever. I race HS and these pipes really do the job.

i went the cheaper route and got some dg 2 stroke racing pipes w/magnum silencers and a toomey 2 into 1 filter. it has a very wild sound and pulls thru the whole rpm range

I really like the Paul Turner High rev pipes. They have alot more bottom end then Toomeys and pull pretty well on top. They dont pull on top like the toomeys.

I have thew complete Toomey setup on mine...T5 pipes, Hush Kit, and the 2:1 filter. I never had the stockers on the quad but I'm completely impressed with the performance and the Hush kit drops the decibals as low as 87 from 99 [keeps the grouchy neighbors happy] and supposedly adds a microscopic amount of top end. I also found a HUGE difference in performance when I switched to the 2:1 filter from the stcok airbox with added vents.

LRD's rock. I wish I could meet up with you somewere and let you try out my LRD's. I have had T-5's,FMF Fattys, and now LRD. Out of all them I have to say that LRD are by far the best. The Toomey's would be great if you just played in the sand. LRD might cost more than most, but you get what you pay for. And if you do go with LRD be sure to go ahead and spring for the jet kit. The LRD's are a pretty jet sensitive pipe! LRD's jets will bring it all to life!

How's LRD's top end compared to Toomey's? Thanks,Kenny
