anybody think the drz 400 motor would fit in an lt230 sport? how about the rm125/250? any other motors fit in here>?

i'd say anything would fit up to the 400 but not past that.expect to be doing some frame and suspension work to match the engine tho

i've saw both frames and engines and i THINK they MAY fit not real sure, take a look for yourselve, it will take some modification tho.I mean update the suspension to something like works shocks to match that big engine.

 

be careful, dirt bike engines are designed for dirt bikes. The cranks are not as strong as a atv motor is. People who put dirtbike engines in atv are usally aware of lots of maintance. Plus I've built a couple custom atv's and they are by no means cheaper!! They require lots of thought and work. Find a cheap, atv and fix it up. If you wait and have some money put back you can always pick up a good buy. you just have to be ready at all times and ask around...
