Hello,I have a stock Banshee-99 with FMF pipe and silencer and a lot holes in the air box, only this modification.Main jets are 260 and pilot jets are 0.32.I need to desinstall, clean and install the carbs frecuently because my engine lost power.I have a lot of problems with the stock carbs, lost fuel, and much more.Im thinking to bore these but id like to know the opinion of some people that make this yet.My friend tell me that Ill get the same response than to install two 28 kehinin carbs but muchmore cheap. Is true?
Too,Id like to get more power. My friends tell me that if I mill the cool head Ill get the similar effect than if Ill install a aftermarket cool head with changed domes.Anyone make this before? How much can Ill mill,0.25,0.50,0.75mm?Can Ihad any problem with the temperature or engine ping?
Thanks for advanced.

MAKE SURE THE CARB SLIDES ARE IN THE RIGHT CARB, THE CUTOUT ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SLIDE FACES THE BACK OF THE BIKE. I JUST HAD MY HEAD SHAVED 40, MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE ON COMPRESSION. I HAVE A 96 BANSHEE 30 OVER W/WISECO PISTONS AND CRANK, TOOMEY 2 INTO 1 AIR FILTER, DG PIPES, 40 OVER HEAD, 30 PILOTS, 320 MAINS, NEEDLES IN THE 4TH GROOVE, 41 BACK SPROCKET AND 12 FRONT (3.42 GEARING) YAMALUBE 32:1 AND AIR SCREWS 2 OUT

I FEEL THE STOCK CARBS WORK FINE IF THEY ARE SET UP AND ADJUSTED RIGHT

The stock carbs are a pain to start with. Double trouble to get anyhting done to them. Pain to jet, pain to set and pain to clean. Solution: I bought a single carb. You can make main jet changes in about 30 seconds. My low end has improveda good deal. It really depends on how your bike is setup though.
