I am trying to decide on an exhaust for my scrambler 500 and my sportsman 500. I am leaning towards the Supertrapp IDS2 exhaust but only because i have seen it in person. The other i am considering is an exhaust from fmf and which one. Which one produces more power for the money? Also, I noticed that Chris Picciotto got a 42mm Mikuni CV carb from Aaen. Does anyone know how much it costs and what is Aaen's address if they have one?

I have the FMF MegaMax II on my scrambler 500 and it works and sounds real good. I paid around $190 for it. I just got off the phone with AAEN (414)552-8981 I ordered a clutch kit from them and a new Dayco belt. I couldn't find a web address. I am very happy with my pipe.

I just installed a Aaen pipe which is supposed to give 5 hp increase. Along with my shift kit for the clutch and my airfilter it now rips along nicely. Sounds meaner than any stock 400ex or rapter.

ya but if you put a pipe on a Rapter, or my favorite, the 400EX, it would scramble your scrambler man

Actually I owned a 400 Sport with a pipe, 42mm carb, clutched, and lots more it was pretty fast but the 500's never really seemed fast to me

the 400 are faster at bottom end but the top speed the 500 beats it i think by like 2 mph i would like to ride a 400 to see the difference between the 2
