Hi, I have a 2005 ( TROY LEE EDITION) Predator and a couple of months ago I put on a HMF full exhaust ( header and pipe), and a full intake kit (pipe, round air filter and cover for air filter, which the stock, top piece, of the air box is now excluded). I found that the jets that hmf sent along weren't good enough. I now have the biggest jets, that polaris makes, in. I also found that I had to turnj the needle jet out another 1&3/4 turns out from stock. Hopefully this will help out.
I guess all in all, I would suggest going to the next size bigger jet and seeing how the wheeler runs, ( without "popping" ) to find which one runs with a smoothe idle. And if you get to the biggest jet ( if in fact they sent you different sizes) and it still popps, then try turning out your needle a little at a time until it itles right.

UPDATE: I found that putting the "biggest" jets in was only due to the extreme cold we were having at the time(-50). I put in the jets ( one size bigger than hmf sent me) and kept the needle where I put it before, and now the machine runs excellent! I will probably have to change the jet size once again when the temp. warms again. Hopefully this helps!!
