im thinking of buying a 99 or 00 recon new and i want to make it unique buy adding after market front and back rims (any sugestions for trail riding) and some 20" holeshots in the rear and 21" on the front but i want to get 10" rims for the front. Also is there any company that makes nerf bars for this model or im sure i could get a set to fit with a welder and i would like to get a dg front bumper from a 300ex and make it fit and a dg grab bar and also make that fit.I want to bore out the engine would a cyclinder of a 400 forman fit. What would be a cheap pipe that would give me the most power im looking at cobra (noise is not a problem) if there are any other mods that would work please say.

You can put 10" wheels on it. I seen a Recon in Atv Magazine without it's racks an Holeshots.

The nerf bars sound cool but the bumper is going to look VERY UGLY. I saw a Foreman 400 with nerfs before in a magazine, so they should make them for Recons.

That would look great.

Is it just me, or does the front plastic of a recon look kinda like a Dakota Sport?

you know now that you say it it does and also ive thought it would look good to make a set of scrambler style headlights for it and make a homemade dash on that for my ignition and lights i would be getting rid of the plastic dash and leaving the handle bar adjustments exposed because i always adjust the ones on my honda 300 4x4 for the way i want to ride that day think its a good idea? my email is drg33nthumb@hotmail.com
