Sparks Racing Mods for 400EX
#1
I already have the Sparks exhaust and was wondering if anyone has talked to Curtis lately and found out what else he has available. I am waiting till I get some more money, and then I will call and find out, but for now I thought I could see if anybody else knows anything. If anybody has any new Sparks mods on your 400EX let me know I would like to hear from you.

There is a boy that races with us, and he has a sparks 400ex. I am not to sure what size, its a 460 or something. It is wiked fast. He beats most of banshees in 300ft drags(those that are not to radical) He runs like 4.9's, for comparisons sake, I have a banshee that is on alcohol, drag pipes, clutchless tranny, ignition, complete C&O motor etc. I run 4.6's. That shows you how fast it is! How long would it take curtis to build the motor though is the problem.

to whom ever answer this post.....
I am intrested in getting a exhaust for my 400. I spoke to the guys at Eastcoast atv and some racers at the Charlotte ATv classic race that was held in september. and everyone generally said "That the Sparks is the best exhaust that they had used" I am also considering a Yoshimura because of the weight savings(3.5lbs complete system compared to about 30-33lbs for the stocker)and the titaniuam construction would make it very stong and long lasting. however the $700 price tag and lack of testing and rider feedback, I am sort of hesitant to shell out the money. can anyone give me some information on these two exhaust systems and also does anyone have anything on the Double Barrel and Pro Circut. I am kinda tired of seeing the same products being used over and over again. I'm sure most of the companies have great reputations and their products work well. BUT there are many other companies that have great products, but are hardly ever seen in the magazines or catalogs. give everyone a fair deal when doinng a shootout or hop up kits etc.... some people want to know all of their options before buying something for their quad.

If you want the maximum HP get the LRD 2nd generation pipe 1 man makes these pipes and the company has the best customer service i have ever expierienced. they have put in a lot of time in to these pipes and they only make them for the 400ex. the man who ownes the company has bought every pipe that people are comparing to his pipe. go to www.earthlink.net/~gellett/400ex/ to look at it, it's the best built pipe in the industry. and it goes for $360.00 cromed. the pipes are cathing on so hurry befor the backorder is more than a month. TRUST ME IT'S WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
