My girlfriend purchased a Bell Moto 7 for me before New Years. It was supposed to be in before New Years Day and it still isn't here, they dont know where it is and wont cancel are order because according to them, "We cant afford to eat that kind of loss!"
We are still fighting back and forth with them and everyone we talk to is rude.

Also, they wont give us a UPS tracking number. The manager refuses to give it to us and says it wont do us any good, which I know is false!

My girlfriend gave them my correct address and they repeated it back to her before she got off the phone and they repeated it back correctly. When she called back to find out where is was, they gave her a wrong address and then told her, to be off that far she must have gave them the wrong address and says it was her fault...

Just a warning to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just think how much more pissed off you would be if you bought some expensive parts off of this
@$$ hole.

Sorry about your misfortunes.

I got screwed by them too. I ordered a piston and gasket set from them. They said it was all in stock when I ordered it but it really wasn't. I waited two weeks and then they only sent the piston. I called back about the gaskets and they said they were on back order. Since I was in a hurry to do the job, I told them to cancel the order for the gaskets and credit my charge card for the difference. Which they said they would do. I called White Bros. and got the gaskets right away. About a month later I noticed on my credit card statement that Factory Racing had not credited my card for the gaskets that I never received. I called them and they played stupid like they forgot or something and would take care of it right away. Well another credit card statement later I still had not been credited for the diff. At that point I just figured the heck with it, I'd just never order from them again. Then, over three months after my initial order, I got the gaskets in the mail and they did charge me for them!

Here's some advice for mail orders: Always - Always - Pay with credit card. I've had similar problems with ATV and non-ATV related companies when ordering through the mail. Try to settle your disputes with the company first - and document EVERYTHING. If you don't get a resolution, then take it up with your credit card company. If you have good credit, you account is in good standing, and you have a legitimate complaint about the merchant, they will most likely rule in your favor and refund your money. I think they also may try to get the money from the merchant's bank. Anyway, if the credit card company steps in for you and refunds your money, you can bet that the merchant will get a black mark in one way or another.

I had the same type of problem. I purchased a durablue axle from them and after installing it I found someone elses receipt in the box. They were also rude to me too. I dont recommend Factory Racing to anyone.
95 Blaster Graydon fatty/silencer, reeds, spacer, and hydrobrakes from Trenga, durablue axle with bandits.

Thanks for the info. guys. One nice thing about reading this forum is being able to learn from others mistakes, so thanks for warning us. I surely will never buy from them after your experiences. I have had bad luck with Chapparal and will not buy from them again. I order almost everything from Nac's racing and have never had any problems at all. And besides that they support a race team at the nationals so they are actually putting money back into the sport.

Thanks a lot ModdedX for creating this thread. It's a shame that you guys have been screwed over by this guy. Thankfully, you as well as others can learn from it your misfortunate experiences. You may help many others from getting into the same mess by ordering from them. I hope others will post about their bad experiences with companies in the future. Just to warn fellow members from making the same mistakes. Thanks again, and good luck with future purchases.

Another Credit Card story: I had made motel reservations for a job, the job got canceled, I called the motel and canceled the reservations. The next month charges from the motel showed up on the Amex statement, I called the motel and asked about the charges, the manager told me that I had not canceled the reservations... Hmmm...
I went and found the telephone bill within 10 minutes with a 3 minute long distance call to the motel on the day I canceled the reservations. I called the manager back and faxed a copy of the phone bill to her. She ( the manager ) still wouldn't credit the charges and admit the mistake on their end. I had to file some paperwork and a copy of the phone bill with Amex and they looked into the matter. Again, she wouldn't credit the charges with Amex. I called Amex and explained that "there are 3 women in the motel office, the only way to get two of those women to talk, is for one of the women to leave the room". The customer service rep got a laugh out of that (she was a girl) and told me "that NEVER happens" in between giggles, after that, she credited the account and thanked me for using Amex...
Now that's cutomer service...

Last year I purchased a top end rebuild kit for my Banshee from Factory. In the Magazine ad it was said to include pistons, rings, gaskets, pins, and bearings. When I recieved the kit no bearings were included. I called and spoke to a man who was rude and tried to convince me that is not necessary to replace the bearings with a rebuild. Rather than argue this point with him I told him that I had paid for bearings and was expecting to receive them. He grudgingly said that he would send them. I did receive them a few days later but by that time I had already bought bearings from a local dealer so my machine would be ready for the weekend. I buy a lot of ATV parts but I don't deal with factory anymore.

It's gonna be funny if these people continue to treat their customers like this, and slowly go out of business. I know that may sound mean, but these people have to learn that if they treat their customers this way, there is going to be very little, or no return business. You can't cob someone and expect them to come back for more. Please keep us posted in the future on crappy businesses that screw people over. Thanks.
