Kurt:
Contact Works shocks...... they do(or should i say "did") all of Last Rebel's shocks. From what I heard Works has roughly 25 sets of shocks that they built for LRR and they will NOT ship until they are paid. You may be able to find out which shock is yours and go from there. I wouldnt bother trying to go out there....... there building is empty and gates are locked.
Good luck

The guy owes me 140.00 I am extremely pissed. I cannot imagine how you feel. Our research has gotten this... The owner name is Kip Kilburn. I am not sure what his relationship is with Eric Cobb, but as far as I can tell, he worked for Kip. I know he owes ATVSport magazine $2000+ for unpaid advertising. If he owed me more, I would fly there with you. My story is...I ordered a part for a 300ex for a Christmas present. Paid with a debit card. They sent me a part for a 250x (wouldn't work) I sent it back and they were gone. So, I am without the part and the money and of course, no one knows anything.

I have a update to my first posting anyone looking for shock rebuilds that he may owe you i have found out that total control suspension was also doing his shock work the guy told me that last rebel was on a cash basis with him the good news is he had my shock in his stock and was waiting for last rebel to pay him for it so i am thinking that CT racing was doing some of his motor work that might be a place to start looking for your lost parts if i come up with any more updates on this subject i will post them right away and also if any one payed by credit card file a fraud claim immediately before the guy files bankrupcy and your card company will have to eat those charges good luck to anyone else this guy has screwed if you need any more info on what i have found out email me at kurtkaz@home.com

I know how you guys feel. I've had 2 quads stolen in the past ('92 250X, '86 250R)(1 taken out of the garage, and the other my parents sold it while I was working and trusted a check from the buyer and now there is a warrent out for his arrest), and my older brother had his 97 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 stolen a few years ago, so I know whats its like to get screwed, its not fun. Worst part about it was the cops know who stole both of my quads, but won't do anything about it. The one taken from the garage had the front shocks taken off, so the thieves went looking for some the next day. They were arrested, one they let go and the other already had a warrant for his arrest because there occupation is car theif. Also my neighbor tried to help, because he is a narcotics agent and arrested one of them 3 times himself for drugs, and he said they would have shot me if I had woke up and tried to stop them, and the cops did not want to get involved either, so they never found my quad and the bad guys were let go. How's that for justice, If I would have wounded one of them if I had protected myself, they could sue me for everything I own, but they let potential killers and known criminals go. I never had either quad insured either, my dad thought our home would cover the quad, but it didn't, and the other one I just bought and decided to sell it, so I lost everything on both. Needless to say, I have a hard time trusting people anymore. I will never except a check again, which is too bad because I used to, and every person I have bought a quad from have trusted me to honest with checks, and I have been and always will be.

As far as Last Rebel, I had no idea they were closing, they even sponsored me and I spoke with the owner a month ago, and what he told me is that he was planning on moving the shop to Arizona to handle the buisness better. So at first I thought maybe thats why they weren't back on time. I too can't get ahold of him now, so I'm not sure whats happening. If he did close for sure with owing people, which doesn't make sense that they went out of business (But then life doesn't make sense sometimes) all I can say is I understand how you feel, and I'm sorry it happened, because I have lost over $6,000 due to theft before I was even 20 years old, which really makes things hard.

Hopefully everything works out for the best though.

Good Luck Everyone,

Sickman
