Can someone help me? I was thinking of giving my quadalittle more speed. I heard nitrous is the cheapest way to do this.

So can you help me instal a NOS Fogger kit (the 300 horsepower kit) on my Arctic Cat 500?

Arctic Cat 500, Who's da man?

I hope your just kidding around. Why would you want nitrus on an artic cat 500? Also have you ever priced the cost of nitrus, from what I have heard, its very expensive stuff. Also, its not the best on an engine, usually they have much more than just adding nitrus to handle the extra horsepower. Your also dreaming if you can get 300 Horsepower, what do you have in that thing, a V-8.

I think you could do it, not 300 horse, but with a smaller system you could pretty much pull your self off the back of your quad if you wanted to. The only problem would be getting all the extra fuel into the cylinder. Hmmm, maybe with an electric fuel pump, wired to the stator? Just a thought.

Nitrous Oxide Systems makes several kits for small two and four stroke engines like those found in trikes/quads/dirtbikes. It is a lot of work to hook it up though so consider yourself warned.

I do laugh though, when people slap nitrous o a ill-prepared motor!

"OH yea, I got a 200 HP N2o kit, now I make 500HP on a stock 350 chevy bottom end"

Yea, Right...

RoostKing...

Hmmmmm.....It seems we have alot of people here who are auto experts also....

Does anyone think it is possible to get about 170 HP out of a 76 triumph spitfire.
Oh yeh....I forgot to mention...with a stock 1500cc engine block.... what kind of mods do you think that would take? sprockets? hehe

Roostking....I have personally seen a stock bottom end small block chevy run 8 grand for a whole season of racing with no adverse effects. Small block chevys are very tough motors, excessive rpm and horsepower dont even stun it. I have over 100k on a hiperf 350 with over 300hp and I spin it 6000 all day long...I've been very, very hard on this motor, and it loves it. A properly set up NOS kit, like the NOS 125hp cheater system could be used and still outlast every other motor out there.

Big SBC fan, sorry
