my friend just bought a blaster because i have a banshee and my other friend has a 660 raptor. so i wanted to know if my 1986 250r would win against his blaster . it has an richard performance systems(i have never heard of this brand before,but i got it off a bike i stripped along time ago) silencer and his blaster is stock(so i am guessing that i will win with three wheels and a bigger motor) but i have never driven a blaster and he said it was a 200.are all the blaster 200?

 

yes all blasters are 200 cc's unless they have a bore kit installed on them. and the best way to find out who will win is to line them up and drop the hammer and may the better rider win.

 

you would have to be the worst rider in the world to lose this race! it wont even be close if the atc250r is in reasonable decent running order. you could give him a head start and still beat him easily. a blaster is quick and snappy but it aint touching a trx250r, much less an ATC250R. beter weight/power ratio and that engine had slightly more power than the trx version as well. no contest.

 

No contest here. All you have to do is get a decent launch, not loop over or anything and you will smoke him.

 

yeah u should smoke him. i think the 250r fourtrax are just as fast because they come with 6 gears so you can stay in that power band longer.

 

the 1986 atc 250r has 6 gears too

A ATC 250 r has the same engine the CR 250 motocross had,a Blaster will need a YZ 250 motor to keep up.
