I was finally able to correctly jet the banshee with SST pipes. Ended up running 290 mains w/30 pilots. Also put on a K&N filter to only find out it wont work with my pro flow plate.

The reason behind this is pro flow makes 3 different kinds of plates and Rocky Mountain ATV only offers one of those and their Pro Design filter only fits it, no K&N will. The other 2 plates do support a K&N, just a heads up for those that didnt know(money in the hole for me).

Other than that the Banshee really runs great now, have more bottom end, the powerband is infinate in all gears and runs smooth.

Overall I am please to go with a new pipe that was rarely known about and used. I will be the (well, maybe) first to say this is a great lowend-to-top pipe that works great.

The pipe does extend a lil more on the outsides near the fender but does fit, maybe a .25 of an inch by the fenders and I do have some melted boot marks on the pipe but no problem to get off with the pressure washer.

I have yet to drag anyone else with these to get a comparision. Our last ride was at Muenster last Saturday with about 10 Raptors in our group, 2 Banshees, and 3 Utility quads. The beach back by the river was under water due to all the rain the previous weekend.

Well, im happy with my purchase of the FMF SST pipes but not to happy with the pro flow kit.
Looks like I will be either going back to the Pro Design setup or using the stock setup and cutting all the plastic off it and keep the plate, then drill holes in it just like the pro flow plate is and installing the K&N again.
Another plate from pro flow that the K&N will fit on it another $70.

Sell your mistake on ebay and buy the Toomey 2:1 filter kit for about 45 bucks. That thing can breathe then! I moved my coolant bottle to just under the nose behind the bumper and made a cap so I can fill it I ever have to.

You stated that you had boot marks on your new SST pipes.. Do your boots rub on them when you ride or did you accidently put a foot on them when they were warm? Also, if you drag-race a banshee w/ fatty pipes I would love to hear a comparison to that one!!

My boots rub when I ride. Only noticed it on the left side last time but it was on both sides this time, no problem getting it off, just worried about my boots now, lol.

I know the perfect person to drag! Hey MIKE! hehe, j/k.
If I ever get to drag anyone else with similar mods I will be sure to come back here.
