350x into my zuki

i own AN LT 230 QS, and i have the quad tore down and ready for a total rebuild, i plan on putting a 350x motor in it, does anybody know if this motor is too big to be put in the fram or not? and suggestion or comments would be nice

I don't know about the 350X or the sport frame,but I put an XR350R motor(same bottom end as 350x but has a 4 valve head) in a quad racer frame.I had to lower the bottom frame rail about an inch. The sports are to short to start with so even if you get the motor in you are gonna need a longer swingarm.But it should be a good ride.
I'm just sorting out the jettin/timing on mine and it already runs awesome.Can't wait for some dry warm weather when it will hook up good.

{retty much any motor will fit any frame....with enough work that is. just for starters I'll say that neither the 350x or xr350r motor will likely fit in vertical height.I may be wrong because I have limited knowledge of the sports.So either the top backbone or the bottom rails of the frame are going to have to be moved...Not impossible but not an easy task either.
Second going from suzuki to honda chances that any of the motor mounts will line up are pretty remote.So you will have to fabricate ne mounts.(I think I spent more time on this than anything.).
Next is exhaust.No idea here I got lucky with the racer frame and the mods I did I used the dirtbike pipe with only a little bending.I think the 350x would be a little easier here cuz if memory serves me it only has 1 exhaust header.(xr350 has 2 just like the 400ex).
Now you gotta get it started...the XR and I thin the 350X both kick rearward not forward like your sport and the kicker needs to more a long way to start those big thumpers.even on the racer I had to more the pegs and redesign the rear brake.
next up is electronics....pretty easy here just need diagrams from the sport and what ever the donor motor came from so you can splice things together.
air filter anyone?????I just used a clamp on for the carb.But it limits the amount of water I can cross with the quad.
After all that you still have a quad that was to easy to wheelie to strt with and you added even more power....That's why you need the longer swingarm...any of the aftermarket companies should be able to make you one...For the right price...
My advice hop up the sport motor and look for either an LTR frame or a fourtrax 250r frame for your 350x project.

I have seen that conversion done before. They use the stock swingarm becuase the Duadsports are used for rubber ice racing. I do not know any specifics, just that it's definitely possible.

Just for those who don't know. A 350X engine IS a 4 valve engine like its sister the XR 350R and a 350X DOES kick foward. The xr engine kicks backwards.
The wire harness will have to be used of the 350X donor bike.
The header pipe on the 350X engine is a 2 into 1 pipe.
