I'm taking my cylinders off tomorrow and taking them to get bored and ordering a new top end tomorrow and I thought I'd ask for some pointers as to what else I should do while I have them off. I plan on polishing the entire case, cylinders, head, and side cover but I want some performance tips. I want to port my cylinders but the guy that's going to bore them said it's hard to do it right without a flowbench so I don't know what to do. Any kind of internal porting and polishing techniques are well appreciated here guys.

For lots of porting info see macdizzy.com. More info than I'll be able to decipher in my whole lifetime.

Good luck,
