How hard is this modification? Is it worth it or just go with a 400R stroker motor?
Thanks

It has been done,,but I have heard that you should expect a done of vibration and headshake with this setup. This is because the frame was designed for the counterbalanced 250r motor, while the CR500 makes a lot more torque and hp, but also isn't counter balanced; so produces a lot of vibration.

Yeah it has been done but i think its mainly for tt racing. The vibration and mx pounding will put you out. I think laeger makes a chassis to stand up to the vibration. Id go with the 400R stroker, or a yama yz400f or a 426. IF you want to stay 2 stroke, go with the 400R

DIRTDEMON,,,where do you ride at? I seen your from Ravenna,,which is about 15min away from me.

Have you ever been on those trails that run right along side Rt. 5 by the arsenal? They seem like some pretty decent trails, but I dont know how legal it is to ride there and where a good spot is to park the trucks.
