Question Chrome Engine Run Cooler?

I am yet to receive any quotes back from platers but does anyone have an idea on how much it would cost to chrome plate an lt250r engine? My thought is that chrome would help dissipate heat and the block would run cooler?? Can anyone confirm this?

Other way around. Chrome holds heat in.
Wrong thing to do IMHO.

Maybe I will just send my clutch and magneto covers out, and probably the head. Thanks for that information I would have defiantly thought it was backwards. I'll paint the block and cylinder instead.
