i have a 1999 warrior and have on it an alba pipe kit. I will soon put a high compression piston. I want to buy a good midrange cam. Were on the internet can i find one. I mainly do off road and some time on the track. Any comments on my modifications would help me much.

WebCam might have what you need--rockers 'n springs, etc., too, if you need 'em--think their website is www.webcaminc.com

i have no experience on cams. What cam should i put either the .390 or .430 lift. I will first put on a high compression piston 10:25:1. What gains will i get and the differences of these two cams.

on the .430 cam it says that it will give me mid and high range power for race engines. whAT does my engine have to have in order to operate good with this cam. Is it enought with a high compression piston and an alba pipe kit?

I think that you'll want to get the cam too- not just the higher compression piston. My personal experience is with a 400EX that I put a higher compression piston in without doing the cam. There was an improvement in power and it reved quicker, but the gains weren't very big. Just recently I added a high performance camshaft and went up a little more on compression (10.6:1 compared to 10:1)- and what a HUGE improvement it was! A night and day difference from just going up on the compression.

Call TC.. He will be able to help you with a cam choice..
He usually has an ad in the back of either Dirtwheels or 4Wheel Action.

I got the HRC cam which is more of a mid to high end cam- it still has a ton more bottom end grunt than stock.

Go to my website colbykosman.tripod.com It has info about web cam and contact us and we can get you all the info you need. I just put a cam in one of our race quads a 400EX It helped alot but we also put a higher comp. piston in I would recomend to everyone that if you are going to put a cam in it put a higher compression piston as well.
