Cutting the blade out of a fuel tank.

I am now drawing up the parts in the computer to cut them out on my CNC Plasma table. I will be making most of the parts out of 3/8 inch steel.


I have a WARN Vantage 2000, 2,000lb Winch, ATV, UTV, Side X Side, With Wire Rope - 89020 comming monday.

 

I will powder coat most of the parts that I can.

It's hard to tell from the pics but it looks like a good heavy-duty blade. I'll be interested to see how it turns out.

Using 3/8 Steel Plate, it is easy when I can draw the parts up on a computer and cut them out. Sand bast them and then paint them cold galv paint.

 

I am using an 1/2 inch grade 5 bolt and nut to hold them to the frame. the angle will be taking all of the force from the plowing. the bolt will just to hold them up to the frame.

Looks really clean, good work! Would you consider some quick release pins to drop the plow quick where it ties in underneath?
