I race mx on a 250r and I use an LRD pipe. I also notice that about half of my competetiors use one to.

I have the CT midrange pipe on my 89, it works great for MX and I would suggest it for anyone who wants a great all around pipe!

I also use a 38mm Lectron carb and it works very well for me. I'm sure you would be just as happy with the Keihin 35mm or 38mm PWK, either way it would be much better than stock.

I have never used Delta Force reeds but my Boyesen RAD valve works better than stock, FMF power reeds, and the Boyesen dual stage reeds.

Be careful selection an air filter. If you use a K&N, be sure to use an outerware and even an outerware lid cover along with a pair of support rings(they are all the same)just to be safe.

As far as the axles go, GO WITH LSR! I have seen many, many "DURABRAKES" fail! I have a LSR and it has been good to me. Take a look at RPM, they also make a great axle! The Denton stabilizer is a better choice but it is more expensive. I have 2 PEP's and can't complain about either of them.
Good luck,
ERIC

Okay, let me take a breath. Go with the Curtis Sparks or LRD Pipe. Go with the Delta Vforce reeds. They are great. I would go with a UNI filter, and an outwears cover. Thats what i run and i like it. I would go with the 38mm air striker. I hear theyre better. Definately, if you want easy adjustability, go with the little more pricey denton. Youll be glad you did. I like the Tag T2s the best on the bar issue. Get a LONESTAR Axle, not a durabreak. (speaking from eye witness accounts and my own) Go with the RTC Easy clutch, the PEP isn't worth crap. I have hinson airbox rings, but they would both do fine. Hope i have been of some assistance.
