I have a mojave frame that I might want to do a conversion if I don't get it sold. I was just wondering, has anyone done a conversion with this frame and what would be a good motor for it?

hey man - upon removing almost everything from your frame (electricals, exhaust, rad. - etc) you will fin that there is A WHOLE LOTTA SPACE for an engine - ive read of a Ninja 500 being put in a mojave, but i think putting something like a tecate 4 engine, a 350x motor, or just about any motorcycle engine would work in it... try something between 250-500cc's... maybe a ninja 250 (twin cylinder - revs to the moon) - and if you want to get rid of the mojave motor - lemme know - i might have to gget that.. later dude

I have read of the Ninja 500 motor in the Mojave. I don't really have the tools to do it though and don't know of any motors for sale, plus I would have to buy alot of stuff and I just want a 250R. Plus I don't like the Mojave looks so I think I will just sell it. If anyone has any ideas then let me know cause it would be a great summer project!

I suggest a 500 ninja motor, or a lt500r motor, make sure it's big or a two stroke, talk about some bad stuff!! it's just a suggestion!
