trail blazer problem need help,please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

before last winter i changed the main jet to a 140,& it ran great ,so before for summer i put a 130 back in ,no everytime i give it throttle it bogs down ,if i give it more then a quarter throttle it dies ,can somebody please help me thanks!

sounds like you have a air problems it just aint getting none and bogging check it out it may it help if not i would call hpd or heat seat they are real good about helping you out

I don't think a lack of air is your problem. It sounds more like a lack of fuel. Perhaps when you changed the jet you misinstalled the floats or bent them up. I would suggest that you again remove the floatbowl, adjust the floats (hopefully you have a service manual to get the specs), and check to make sure the main jet is properly seated. I've heard stories of the main jet falling out but I'd imagine that is rare.

i noticed yesterday when i was messing around with that when in neautral i could rev it up ,no prob,but when i put it in gear & tried to give it gas it just boged down,even just giving a little bit of gas it would bog & the quad would barely move,this is what i did there is a big bolt on the bottom of the carb i took it outunscrewed the main jet & put the other one back in,why am i having so much problems,i didnt mess with the needle at all please help thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried taking the air filter off to see if that made a better?My 250 explorer did the same thing once it was the prefilter bad.

are you talking about the yellow foam one,& is it safe to do this,her bike is the same year as yours a 00,thanks

It is not good to ride it around like that,but it will at let you know if you are going in the right direction.
