i installed the Hpd head was going to put carb on but my throttle cable will not fit the carb do you have to have a specialcable for the carb? you was right the head did wake it up some i got a pipe on order now [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Sorry for taking so long to respond.

Most people I know that do head/carb mods block off the oil injection and run premix (32:1). With the oil injection block off you will have to get a new throttle cable that will work with the carb, RCR and HPD sells them. You might have to grind the lead ball on the end of the cable with a file so that it fits into slide in your carb. Ask Mike at HPD about the clutch kit that will enhance your mods. Hope this helps.
