Well I finally am satisfied that the assorted noises coming from the front differential are normal. I also have come to accept the clunking drivetrain on rear brake application as normal. But I won't accept my defective gas gauge sending unit as normal.I took the sending unit out of the gas tank and found that the contacts that ride across the printed circuit board had eaten it's way right through the printed circuit causing erratic gas gauge readings. It goes in wednesday for a warranty claim on this problem. I am afraid this will turn out to be a continueing problem with this sending unit. I have 800 miles on my quad. Any others with this problem and mileage noted at the time of the problem?
