I have a 86 trx 250r,it's set up (roll, lone star, works).I,m into big sand pits, big air, anything crazy.I recently bought a 90 lt500 sold chassis, snaged the engine.I liked the power, and the fact that it's counter balanced.I was thinking of puting it in the R,with CT custom pipe and port work looking for expierienced feed back.

ge500: Please e-mail me and I will hook you up with a friend of mines phone #. He owns a trx250R/lt500 conversion and loves it. He has had various other big bores in the past including a full laeger CR500 but this has been his favorite. He can give you the specifics via phone as it's a fairly straight forward swap. Also can tell you what pipes work better for what etc. He has raced this quad at the national TT's and done well so it's a proven performer. Good Luck. berglundbradley@hotmail.com

ive read that the stock engine cases had problems. sounds expensive. duncan racing built a 500 thats where i heard it. trx250r with a 500r cylinder is the way to go.
