will a thumb throttle off of a 400ex work on my r going back to a thumb throttle to put it back to close as stock as possible. when i bought this unit it had a twist on it. and also is the cable for 85 250r the same as for a fortrax thanks for all your help

 

As long as you have the cable that fits the carb, then it should be able to be attached to any type of thumb throttle.
